Frequently Asked Questions

  • There are many different styles of photography and videography. "Documentary" simply means that I will film your entire wedding as it happened, and deliver you a video of your wedding as it happened. This allows you to rewatch the most magical moments from your special day again and again!

  • Though I recommend couples book up to two years in advance, you could book me the day before your wedding and I would show up ready to film!

  • Unfortunately, I cannot film outdoors in heavy rain or other inclement weather conditions like snow and hail.

  • The final length of your film will depend on several factors:

    • What package you chose.

    • How many wedding festivities you include in your timeline.

    • How long each festivity takes.

    • How long it takes to go from one festivity to the next.

The lengths listed for each package represent the maximum time I will deliver for your feature film. I carefully craft the film to ensure every minute is engaging and meaningful.

While I am prepared for the spontaneous nature of a wedding day, I strongly encourage you to maintain your pre-discussed timeline. This collaboration ensures I maximize my coverage during the most important moments, and ensures you to get the absolute most value and quality from every vendor you've hired for your special day.

  • All footage I film is edited in-house by myself.

  • I deliver all of your deliverables through a secure, private online viewing gallery.

Once your content is complete, you will receive a direct link to your gallery. This space allows you to stream your videos in high definition, easily download the original files, and share the link with family and friends. For your privacy, the gallery remains completely private and cannot be viewed or accessed by anyone without the unique link.

(Note: Physical delivery, such as a custom USB drive, is available as an optional add-on service.)

  • That depends on your wedding size and venue complexity!

A second shooter is always recommended to ensure maximum coverage, but here are the key factors that make one essential:

    • Guest Count: If you are expecting 100 guests or more, a second shooter is highly recommended to capture wide shots and crucial reaction moments while ensuring we don't miss any of the main action.

    • Complex Venues: The ‘HEIRLOOM’ package already comes with a second shooter, so rest assured if you book it. If you book the 'KEEPSAKE' package but are having an indoor ceremony or a venue with tight spaces, a second shooter is recommended. This ensures complete coverage and clean angles by providing full mobility for both cameras.

As the primary videographer, I use two cameras: one is set on a stationary tripod to capture a locked, steady angle, and the other is a hand-held camera for dynamic shots and movement. While this setup is highly effective, even the best single shooter can't be in two places at once! The investment in a second shooter ensures that while I focus on the main narrative (like the vows or speeches), your second shooter is capturing important reaction shots, the groom's entrance, or moments happening simultaneously, guaranteeing we get every single moment of your special day.

Important: Eligibility for this discount is strictly limited to the bride or groom. This offer cannot be applied through parents, relatives, or friends.

To simplify planning and budgeting, I divide travel into three tiers: Local, Travel-Lite, and Destination.

    1. Local Coverage

    • Area: Anywhere within 100 miles of Atlanta, Georgia.

    • Fee: No travel or mileage fees are incurred.

    2. Travel-Lite

    • Areas: This special tier includes Orlando, Florida (within 100 miles), Queens, New York (within 50 miles), and Manassas, Virginia (within 50 miles).

    • Fee: You are only responsible for the cost of flights and ground transportation. Lodging fees are not included for these locations.

    3. Destination

    • Area: All other locations not listed above.

    • Fee: This tier includes the cost of flights and ground transportation, plus a separate lodging fee.

  • My Portrait Photography Add-On is designed for couples who prioritize videography but still desire beautiful, formal photographic portraits of their wedding party and themselves.

    What the Add-On Includes:

    • Total Time: 1.5 hours of dedicated portrait photography coverage.

    • Flexibility: This time can be split into two sessions (e.g., 45 minutes pre-ceremony and 45 minutes during cocktail hour), but it cannot be split into three or more segments.

    • Focus: The time is dedicated to your Bridal Party Photo Session and Couples Portrait Session.

    Important Note on Coverage:

Please be aware: As the sole videographer, when I am focused on capturing your portraits, no video footage will be captured during that 1.5-hour period. We must allocate this time when video coverage is least critical to you.

    Timing and Scope:

    • Typical Timing: The portrait session is typically scheduled either before the ceremony (if you choose to do a First Look) or during your cocktail hour.

    • Exclusions: This add-on is strictly for formal portraits and does not include coverage of Getting Ready, the Ceremony, or the Reception.
